Hydraulic oil plays the role of energy transmission, anti-wear, system lubrication, anti-corrosion, anti-rust, cooling, etc. in the hydraulic system. Each hydraulic oil has a certain range of use, and the too high or too low temperature has an adverse effect on the hydraulic oil.
The influence of high temperature on hydraulic oil is as follows：
1. High temperature is more likely to generate air bubbles, and the air bubbles destroy the lubricating oil film, causing sintering or increasing wear on the friction surface;
2. The high temperature will aggravate the corrosion of non-ferrous metals in hydraulic oil, causing damage to the surface of the parts and producing corrosive substances;
3. The high temperature causes the volume of the hydraulic oil to expand, causing the pressure of the hydraulic oil enclosed in the cavity to rise, causing danger;
4. High temperature aggravates the oxidation of hydraulic oil, and gradually generates some ketones, acids, colloids, asphaltenes, and other substances in the hydraulic oil, polluting the hydraulic oil and shortening the service life of the hydraulic oil;
5. High temperature deteriorates the performance of rubber seals in hydraulic systems and accelerates rubber aging;
6. The high temperature makes the viscosity of the hydraulic oil smaller and if the viscosity is too low, the leakage of the hydraulic system increases, and the efficiency decreases;
7. The high temperature causes the lubricating film formed on the metal surface of the friction part to chemically decompose and destroy the lubricating film.
